Mandarin in Rottach-Egern

Very nice ambience, nice staff and didn't have to wait long for the food. Unfortunately, the food itself was rather bad compared to other Asian restaurants.

We were there for the first time today and definitely not the last. We were positively pleased with the food and the friendliness and attention of the staff. We opted for 2 different dishes on the hot stone plate and loved it. Everything was freshly prepared and you could even see how the chef poured the sauce over the food while it was still fresh. Dessert was great too. Had the baked bananas with ice cream and honey. Mega !! If I could, I would give more stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In one week we went to eat three times. The prices are surprisingly moderate for the area.

We always like to come back with our children. The service is very, very attentive and the waitress is always friendly. And what is of course most important: the food always tastes delicious and has always been perfectly digestible without exception, the portions are generous (rice is also immediately given free of charge if the bowl is empty too quickly) and the baked bananas are for dessert with vanilla ice cream, honey and cream are a "must" for us as dessert. I can really recommend it with a clear conscience. P.S. Dogs are also welcome here, the table is moved so that Wuffi has enough space Platz

A wonderful place to enjoy the Asian flair. Very very nice owners who make you feel welcome and at home! My family has been visiting this restaurant for 30 years and the quality has always remained very good! Last but not least: very good and tasty dishes !! Definitely recommendable! Just bad food served with tam tam. Give back drink because of unclear item in it and the same glass would be served again until the manager gave us a fresh clean drink. Don't be fooled ...

I had lunch there today and I am totally thrilled! For a little money a very tasty food and previously also a Peking soup and then a liqueur. Can only say: great!

For about 25 years we go here at irregular intervals and it always tastes very good. Today I had duck sweet and sour with spicy chicken and my wife fried rice with chicken. For starters there was spring roll and Beijing soup and SLS dessert baked bananas. Everything was impeccable and the portions just right.

Excellent authentic Chinese Food as owners were from Hong Kong and superb service.

This place is the best Chinese restaurant I went in Europe. It's a family owned place, where they make you feel like home. For what you pay, you get an amazing place super well decorated with exquisite food and excellent service. They even shape your food into sculptures and the owners are just lovely. As a Traveller or local would always recommend it!

I love eating Chinese Food and have been to many Chinese Restaurants. This is the best Chinese Restaurant I have ever been. Food is very tasty and authentic. Staff are very friendly. Looking forward to eat here again when I am in Rottach-Egern.

Food and atmosphere is just like in Hong Kong. Its like stepping into Hong Kong in the middle of Rottach. Authenthic Hong Kong cuisine - absolutely fantastic!

In all my travels in Europe this has got to be the most (unexpected) delicious and authentic Hong Kong style restaurant. Although Hong Kong cuisine has evolved to high end delicate and complicated dishes, this restaurant retains the core dishes of Hong Kong restaurants 30 years ago. Owner speaks unadulterated old-style Cantonese without the lazy tongue characteristic of modern Hong Kong.
